This is a translation of a lace knitting pattern in Danish found at http://www.kunststrik.dk/flacon.htm
For the sake of clarity I have added a few additional instructions regarding the edge. Also, I have corrected what appeared to be 2 errors on rows 23 and 29.

Cast on 9 stitches and distribute on on stocking/double pointed needles, knit 1 round.

*3 stitches tog with a double/single crochet, chain 5*, repeat till end, endingwith a slip stitch in the first dc/sc.
If needed work a second round like this:
Slip stitch till middle of first loop, 1 double/single crochet in middle of loop,* chain 5, 1 dc/sc in next loop* repeat till end of round ending with 5 chain and a slip stitch in first dc/sc.
Flacon should measure app. 22 cm/8.5 " in diameter on needles size 2mm/ UK 14/US 0.
